We love American heroes!
Happy July 4th to our American readers. We’re celebrating our independence this week. And, what better way to do that than with a list of hot fake American heroes. Now, there are real American heroes and I love them, too. Real American heroes are the best kind of hero around.
I’m loving this book cover. I’m not sure what guy really walks around shirtless with a gun and dog tags…are those dog tags? But, I approve of this concept. If I had to guess, I’d say he’s in love with a girl and she’s been kidnapped by some crazy foreign power. This photo was snapped as he was getting dressed to go into battle. He paused briefly to reflect on his love. This whole series looks excellent!
Warning…Oh….this one looks hot. What is it with these American heroes in khakis? Is this what they wear? Apparently, I need to start lurking in the Dockers section of my local department store. I alway thought they’d be in camo or maybe athletic wear so they can move easier, jumping over tanks and under barbed wire. * On Amazon, it looks like the cover has been updated. It’s more of a 50 Shades style…just dog tags on maybe a metal table
I read this one! It was very good!
I like the back shot of this hero. It says I’m turning my back on the haters and only doing what I love. What does he love? A girl, of course. I predict he’s staring into the bright sunset, thinking of all the things he’s had to overcome to get her back. I dig the camo, which feels very real hero-esque to me. And, the tattoo crawling down his back is a nice touch.
This is one of my favorite authors. The whole Out of Uniform series is great. It follows a bunch of SEALs, which appears to be a trend with military hero books. SEALs are the H in many, many books. Someone dating or married to a SEAL should comment on this phenomenom. Are they really this awesome? I like this cover model’s casualness. He’s returning from the ocean, perhaps after a major assignment to eliminate a nasty dictator somewhere. In his swim trunks.
This cover has hero written all over it. And, he’s a SEAL. Note my comment on book four. The cover has an American flag and he’s in uniform. But, he’s a prince? I’m intrigued… SEAL plus prince is book gold. I just bet this SEAL isn’t prince material though. He’s probably rough, tough and with questionable manners. I’ve read Brockman’s books before and they’re good!
